Elevate your career, increase your marketability and earn CEUs with the Pelacore Training Course
Created by a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and Professional Fitness Instructor, Pelacore is a powerful core strengthening program that fuses the science of physical therapy with core techniques from Pilates, yoga and barre.
Become part of the fastest-growing segment of the medical fitness industry
As a physical therapist and fitness instructor, I’ve used pelvic core fitness to help thousands of people reduce lower back pain, eliminate incontinence, increase muscular endurance, improve posture and resolve other problems caused by a weak pelvic core.
I created the Pelacore Training Course to teach this transformative core strengthening method to rehab and fitness professionals who want to expand their knowledge about the lumbopelvic anatomy (including the pelvic core and pelvic floor), grow their career opportunities and help their clients feel amazing again. Pelacore is especially beneficial for athletes, women who are pregnant, post-partum or menopausal, people who have had pelvic surgery, men who have had prostate surgery and people with sexual dysfunction.
Pelacore is trusted by trainers, physical therapists, physicians and chiropractors, and it’s accredited by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
If you want to earn continuing education credits (CEUs) but do not plan to teach Pelacore to clients, then this course is for you.

Completing the Pelacore Training Course and passing the multiple choice exam does allow you to receive 3 CEUs from NASM/AFAA.

Will I be I certified to teach Pelacore classes or private sessions after taking the course?
No, first you will need to complete the Pelacore Training course online. To obtain your Pelacore Instructor Certification, you must submit a demo video of you teaching a Pelacore class. We’ll review the video and once it’s approved, we’ll send you a certificate to show that you are a Certified Pelacore Instructor. Only Certified Pelacore Instructors can teach Pelacore classes and private sessions. There is an additional fee of $50 for each demo video review.

Is there a large market for pelvic fitness classes?
Over 31 million people suffer from chronic lower back pain in the U.S. alone
25 million adults suffer from urinary incontinence (75 – 80% are women)
25% of women are affected by Pelvic Floor Disorders.
The incidence of pelvic floor dysfunction is expected to double over the next decade, resulting in positive implications for those who administer pelvic floor related fitness and training programs. Pelvic floor dysfunctions happen to people of all ages and is particularly predominant in athletes, pregnant women, women who have given birth, women with menopause, and people who have had back, pelvic or prostate surgery. With few available treatment options, many people have traditionally turned to potentially addictive pain medications or surgery. But now, thanks to Pelacore, more people are turning to pelvic core fitness, a safe and effective way to improve lower back pain, incontinence, poor endurance and other pelvic floor and core dysfunctions.
What score is required to pass the Pelacore Training Course?
75%
What are CEUs and how do they help?
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are needed for fitness instructors, personal trainers and medical professionals to keep current with accreditation and licensing.
What kind of equipment will I need to teach Pelacore classes?
Pelacore classes can be set up and taught almost anywhere with minimal cost. Everything you need should cost under $100 per person and can be reused for every class. These products are available at most fitness stores and can also be easily ordered on Amazon.com. Here’s what you’ll need:
As a Certified Pelacore Instructor, how much space will I need to teach a Pelacore class?

Group classes can be any size, depending on your facility size and equipment, but classes tend to be more intimate when limited to 10 to 12 people per instructor.
How frequently should clients attend Pelacore classes?
We recommend that clients attend Pelacore classes at least once per week to start. Beginner clients will need to develop a regular routine in order to get their body used to moving in a new way. After they acclimate, they should eventually transition to 3 classes per week.
Can Certified Pelacore Instructors offer private Pelacore classes to clients?
Yes! In fact, many of our instructors only offer private lessons.

Like any physical therapy practice, wellness center, fitness professional or personal trainer, it is important to have liability insurance. If you already have an insurance policy or if you work at a physical therapy, practice, wellness center, gym or fitness studio, please check with your insurance agent or broker to see if you are covered for liability insurance.
